ABOUT ME
I have worked in the heritage sector for over 25 years. My day job is Director of Conservation at Historic Environment Scotland caring for Scotland's heritage assets with a passion for research, science, traditional skills and materials. Prior to this I was a consultant and contractor specialising in architectural ironwork. My PhD is on the development of the Scottish Architectural Ironfounding industry. I have been fortunate enough to be involved in research and projects across the world and published and taught on this subject. I am still learning and believe that sharing knowledge always results in new things being shared with you - so pease don't let me down !
